White Prose

When we read a text with a purpose, we try to support our preexisting ideas… We fish for what confirms our thoughts; we feel better because what has been written has been reviewed, hence is credible. We see our selves converging smoothly towards the author’s preached vision; at the second reading, we start to resemble the text. At the third reading, we see that the text resembles us, and is just a new narration of our own thesis.
